Mr. LongArm’s 9″ Stain Applicator Pad was designed with small to mid-sized decks in mind. Featuring a tear-resistant and beveled stain pad that allows the Applicator to get in between boards, this product will save time and money for any DIYer. Thanks to the edges along the sides of the 9″ Applicator, it is able to stain along edges of a house without getting any stain on the house itself. The hook and loop pad replacement system allows the user to quickly and easily swap out Applicator Pads. Woodmates are a winner of a 2010 GOOD DESIGN Award from the Chicago Athenaeum for product design.

AWESOME PRODUCT – Woodmates 9″ standard stain applicator
My husband and I just wanted to let you know how satisfied we were with the Woodmates stain applicator. Purchased from Menards in Hudson WI and used on our son’s deck in Albertville MN. My husband wanted to use a “roller on a stick” but the paint attendant recommended this product. It was very easy to use and was applied on a recently power washed deck.

Saved hours, and our back and knees when staining our deck. It also provided smoother coverage than we got using a paint brush. We still had to go slow when staining the boards to ensure we got proper coverage, especially in the cracks, but seemed much faster than using a brush. Deck looks fantastic.
