Use our Floodlight Bulb Changer for the Best Way to Change Bulbs Safely from the Ground!

Changing a light bulb might seem like one of the easiest household tasks. But, introduce awkward placements, high ceilings, and multiple levels and that simple task becomes a lot more difficult. Instead of grabbing a ladder or using a step stool, take advantage of Mr. LongArm’s bulb changers instead. The floodlight bulb changer attaches to an extension pole and allows the user to remove and replace most smooth-faced floodlight bulbs quickly and easily. Our non-conductive bulb changers match perfectly with our non-conductive extension poles.

High Quality Construction and Easy-to-Use Design

Our light bulb changers are made of high-quality materials to ensure safety and effectiveness. Instead of utilizing any metal parts, we went with non-conductive rubber and plastic to create the safest bulb changers currently on the market. Along with being safe, these changers are extremely simple to use.

Instructions

Turn light switch to off and let bulb cool. Remove old bulb by carefully aligning the suction cup in center of bulb and push gently but firmly to form suction. Carefully unscrew bulb. To replace new bulb, reverse the above procedure, then carefully lift bulb and screw into socket. To release vacuum, pull down on extension pole to disengage pin and open the hole in the center of the cup releasing suction.

Made in the USA

When you buy our light bulb changers you are supporting American manufacturing and American workers. Customers can also expect unmatched quality that goes along with making a product from the highest quality materials available.

Q & A

Why won't the suction cup stick/hold on to the recessed bulb? We have to unscrew the bulb, then get a ladder to catch the bulb before it falls? Camilla Keech asked on January 9, 2024

Thank you for your question, I think we can help here. There could be a couple of reasons why the suction cup won't hold the bulb. First if it's dusty or not smooth on the top of the bulb that can affect the suction. Slightly moistening the suction cup can help attain a good suction, just be sure you have the fixture turned off. Also make sure the hole in the center of the cup is closed before you raise it up to the bulb and press firmly. It could be the size of the suction cup, make sure its the proper size for your bulb. The 3001 is typically for floodlight and larger spotlight bulbs, the 3002 is for smaller spotlight bulbs. 6. Too high for a ladder.
We are senior adults who are new owners to a house with 15 foot ceilings. We have recessed flood lights in our ceiling. This tool made the job of changing light bulbs super easy.
    — AC (via Amazon, July 19, 2021)

  7. What we desired at an acceptable price.
Makes changing recessed light bulbs a stress free task.
    — FB (via Amazon, April 10, 2021)

  8. Works as expected. Pleased with device.
    — GS (via Amazon, March 2, 2021)

  9. Not just for hard to reach bulbs.
I have a number of can style fixtures in which a recessed bulb is so close to the wall of the fixture that I can’t get a grip on the bulb. This makes it difficult to remove bulbs or, when replacing them, to guide the base of the bulb into the socket. So even though I can reach the fixtures (without an extension pole), this device has made bulb changing much easier.
    — WE (via Amazon, November 13, 2020)

  10. Bueno! Works well.
