Cost effective & sturdy material with decent functionality.
The suction cups are strong & require a string or chain (not provided) to release the lettering into the track of the message board. Luckily, this item was inexpensive enough that I was easily able to afford a pack of construction grade twine from a hardware store. My only real negative issue is that the suction cups are closer together than I was hoping so you have to be careful positioning your letters in order to apply two of them at once. I recommend the single cup version if speed is a deciding factor for you.

No need to worry about grip or suction on these items. I don’t use them for the traditional Gas station sign number, I use them to change heavier long signs on apartment buildings. Mainly changing phone number signs when the other property manager will be on vacation I put my number up, It lifts 2lb board of plexi glass and another lightweight phone number sign. I’m very happy with the product, now I don’t have to take out the big 16ft ladder to change signs.
