How to Use the Single Cup Letter Changer

Wipe down the suction cup with a moist rag to make sure it’s clean to improve suction.

Make sure the suction release wire is parallel with the angle of the cup. If it’s not, you won’t be able to get any suction to hold the letter. Just twist the cup until the wire is parallel with the angle of the handle.

Changing Letters with the Single or Double Cup Letter Changer

Set angle to an angle that lets you easily change letters on your sign

Set the letter changer handle at the angle that makes it easy to reach your sign. Loosen the wing nut until you can reposition the angle and then retighten.

To Remove a Letter

Hover over the middle of the letter and pop the cup onto the surface of the letter. You should not have to hit it too hard to get a good suction. Once you have suction, lift the letter up then bring the bottom out and drop the letter down out of the track.

To Insert a Letter

Press letter onto the suction cup and raise the pole, with the letter attached, up to the sign. Slide the letter under the lower lip of the top track and drop down until the letter is resting in the bottom track. Then gently twist the pole away from the suction release wire to release the suction cup.

Use caution near overhead power lines, never let your pole or letter changer contact one. Additionally, maintain a minimum distance of 10 feet because electricity carried by high-voltage power lines can arc across air space.
